NASCAR ROARS INTO ROSEVILLE OCTOBER 5TH FOR THE NAPA AUTO PARTS 150
ROSEVILLE, Calif. (September 30, 2024) – NASCAR Roars into Roseville with the ARCA Menards Series West for the NAPA Auto Parts 150 presented by Berco Redwood on October 5th. The biggest stock car show of the year at All American Speedway also includes the zMAX CARS Tour West with 100 laps of NASCAR Pro Late Model excitement, plus the championship finale for the JM Environmental Wild West Super Series. Grandstands open at 4pm with driver autographs at 5pm and Opening Ceremonies at 5:20pm. This is the biggest single day sporting event in Placer County with post-race fireworks, VIP BBQ, the vendor midway, autographs, car show, spectator drags, and much more! General Admission Adult Tickets are $35, Kids 6-12 are $25, and Kids 5 and under are admitted free of charge. VIP Tickets are $65 and include a Randy Peters Catered BBQ dinner, private driver appearance, VIP pit tour, and private seating in turns one and four of the speedway. The 26th running of the NASCAR-sanctioned ARCA Menards Series West in Roseville brings 600 horsepower machines to town for a 150-lap contest. Saturday’s green flag is slated for 7:55pm.
The NAPA 150 has not had a repeat winner since 2011 when Escalon’s Eric Holmes steered the NAPA machine to victory lane. Trevor Huddleston of Agoura Hills is the most recent series winner after a thrilling racing on Saturday in Madera, Calif. Huddleston aims for his first Roseville triumph from third in the standings. Las Vegas’ Tyler Reif leads the 2024 championship on the strength of two victories, followed by 2023 champion Sean Hingorani of Newport Beach. Hingorani was the 2023 Roseville race runner-up.
Jack Wood of Loomis in the famed Bill McAnally Racing NAPA Auto Parts Chevrolet is fourth in the standings followed by Las Vegas’ Kyle Keller in fifth. Veteran drivers such as Watsonville’s Todd Souza, Japan’s Takuma Koga, and Canada’s Dave Smith are also expected in action. See the rising stars of stock car racing and veteran drivers collide under the lights.
A clash of the titans is on tap for the zMAX CARS Tour West Berco Redwood Pro Late Model 100. The inaugural CARS West season has been dominated by Grand Terrace’s Jeffery Peterson. Since June 8, Peterson has won nine NASCAR Pro Late Model races across the West Coast including four consecutive CARS Tour West checkered flags. He will aim for his first Roseville triumph for $4,000 to win, going head-to-head with 2024 track points leader of Kenna Mitchell of Loomis. Mitchell has two victories and a third-place finish in the Berco Redwood Pro Late Model Series. She also ranks fifth in the zMAX points.
2022 Roseville Pro Late Model track champion Dylan Zampa of Napa, Madera $5000 Summer Speedfest winner Jay Juleson, 2023 California State champion Linny White, and many more will go up against Roseville’s best in a 100-lap feature at 5:30pm.
Mitchell also will compete in the 100-lap finale for the JM Environmental Wild West Super Series with a target on her back. Mitchell leads the championship with two wins and a runner-up finish this season. 2021 state champion John Moore of Granite Bay trails by just 14 markers with September 7th winner and 2008 track champion Eric Schmidt of Roseville in third and just 15 points out of the lead. 2020 track champion Cole Moore is also within 16 points of the tightly wound championship race.
The MMI Legends Tour West makes its inaugural Roseville appearance in a clash with the Pressler Properties INEX Legends in a 35-lap feature. 2024 ARCA West points leader Tyler Reif also leads the MMI Legends Tour West standings. Bakersfield’s Logan Chambers, a former Bandolero race winner at Roseville, is second in the standings followed by Bakersfield’s 13-year-old standout Taylor Mayhew. Sean Salazar and Johnny White round out the top-five. The Pressler Properties Legends are led by 2022 Modified track champion Brandon White of Eureka, San Fransisco’s Henry Barton, and Roseville’s David Shelly.
Jr. Late Models will kick off Saturday’s races at 4:35pm with an outstanding field of drivers ages 10-16 years expected to compete. They will chase Lincoln’s Kylie Glick in a 25-lap race. The fourth-generation driver enjoys a nine-point lead over Castro Valley’s Chase Lopez. Bella Thomsen of El Dorado Hills, Colton Nelson of Auburn, and Roseville’s Dayton Broyles make up the balance of the top-five. Broyles will race Saturday then speed over to his Grante Bay High School homecoming dance after the races.
Action kicks off Friday with practice activities. NAPA 150 weekend divisions will practice from 4pm to 7pm before turning the track over to the ARCA Menards Series West teams. On Saturday, first practices hit the track at noon before qualifying at 1:40pm. Grandstands open at 4pm followed by ARCA Menards Series West qualifying at 4:20pm. Jr. Late Models race at 4:35pm followed by autographs at 5pm and opening ceremonies at 5:20pm. zMAX CARS Tour West, MMI Legends Tour West, and JM Environmental Wild West Super Series will be in action with the ARCA Menards Series West “NAPA 150” going green at 7:55pm. Spectator drags and post-race fireworks close the show at approx. 9:15pm
